Friends

What it does

thecomp's social layer. Connect with other players and see who you are up against. Friendship is mutual: one person sends a request, the other accepts, and either can remove it later, which drops it for both.

How you use it

Friends has three tabs: your friends, incoming requests (with a count when any are waiting), and search. Search by name, then tap Add on a result or Add friend on a profile. The button reads Requested until they accept. Handle anything waiting from the Requests tab.

A player's profile shows their handicap and home club. Starting a round from a profile is flagged coming soon: the "Add to round" button is there but not yet active.

Privacy

Mark your profile private and non-friends see only your name, home club, and handicap, behind a note inviting them to add you as a friend.
